Market Updates: Best Blogs of 2023

Our top 5 blogs of 2023!

There is one reason and one reason alone why we do what we do – and that is YOU. Our blog content is designed to inspire, inform and ignite all that you want and need to know about home and lifestyle. At the end of every year, we take a look back at all the weekly blogs we have created and pick our top 5 based on reader feedback, defining trends and relatability. Here are the articles that we think ranked the highest!

Calming & Comforting Home Designs

Earlier this month we featured home designs that evoke more calm and comfort and stave off stress. We think these style selections are helpful not just for the holidays – but the whole year through!

Resource Focus On Moving

Our readers know that our blogs are all about education & information, which is why we created a blog dedicated to one of life’s biggest stressors: moving. More knowledge, less chaos, in just 3 comprehensive checklists.

The Weather Is Cooling- Home Prices Are Not

One topic we just could not keep out of the mix was home prices. Rising rates created fears throughout much of the year that buyers would exit and home sellers would be forced to settle for less. But time and time again, this was not the case. Note that home prices rose in 82% of markets in Q3 of 2023.

Outdoor Improvements & ROI

One of the best parts of home ownership is having space to call your own – both indoors and out! In the spring we wrote a blog that shared data on what exterior upgrades made homeowners and happiest and which offered the best ROI (and they were not all one in the same!).

Does Your Preparedness Plan Include Pets?

California is the land of earthquakes, wildfires and sometimes excessive heat. When we checked in with our readers on emergency planning, we made sure that all family members were included – the furry & four-legged ones too.

Did you have any favorite blogs this year? Topics that you looked forward to? Areas of interest that surprised you? Please always feel free to share – we love hearing from our readers: bobbi@bobbidecker.com.
