Welcome back to the Bobbi Decker Monday Market Update! This week, we wanted to share with you a tool to empower you with knowledge and current market trends in the luxury market!


The California Association of Realtors (CAR)® offers an always accessible resource online called the “California Luxury Market Interactive Tool.” This dashboard compiles luxury market sales (defined as homes sold for $1+ million) by quarter. Data reported includes the key measures of: price per square foot, sales-to-list price ratio, as well as median days on market and median days in escrow. Data can be sorted by county and then filtered further by city and zip code.



Below you will find a snapshot of the Luxury Market Interactive data in San Mateo County for the quarter ending in June 2020. Note that the median price per square foot is $913.34, the median sales-to-list price ratio is 100.7% and the median days on market is 20! The quarter ending in September 2020 will be available very soon, so keep checking back!
