Happy, Happy Thanksgiving!

The word ‘thankful’ is never enough…

Our favorite holiday of the year is here, and not just because of who is at the table, but for all that this holiday represents. As life has urged me to prioritize my health over the last several years, you’ve no doubt seen the theme of gratitude and presence emerge even more in our blogs. As Thanksgiving approaches, my focus on thankfulness is even stronger.

I have no doubt that most of us share the same sentiments of gratitude for our homes, our health (even amidst the struggles!), our loved ones, our pets (past and present), our pantries full of food and our beds piled with warm blankets. But may we not stop there. I challenge us all not to just feel gratitude – but to act on it.

Let’s tell those we are thankful for what they truly mean to us. Let’s make time to make even more memories with those who are still here, and to find ways to honor those who are not. Even more importantly, let’s find ways to give to those who are not as fortunate, and not just at the holidays. There are countless food banks, mental health organizations, animal rescues and more who need our time and our support now – and in the months and years to come. Let us choose this Thanksgiving to be the one where we do not just talk about gratitude – but strive to intentionally live by it.

Wishing you and yours the gifts of this holiday and all that is empowers us to do and be,

Bobbi
