Meet The Author: Greetings From Bobbi

If you’re new here, or even if you’re not, welcome! Meet the blogger!

By now you know that our blog is dedicated to information & inspiration in everything home, lifestyle & well-being. But do you know why? Whether you are a new reader or a loyal (and very appreciated!) member of our online community, we wanted to take a moment to share why we are so passionate about the content we provide.

Let’s start off by recognizing that life is never a linear path – and I didn’t head straight into real estate! My dedication to education started years ago in my own pursuit of higher education and then as a high school science teacher. Through steadfast drive & determination, I was able to earn a coveted scholarship from Boston College and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology & Education. With a passion for helping individuals pursue personal growth, I made a few career stops along the way before I landed in real estate. I taught science & chemistry to 9th – 12th graders, served as an international flight attendant, held an assistant manager position at Saks 5th Avenue and coached the first cheerleading squad for the New England Patriots. Who knew?!

When I decided that I was ready to become a full-time entrepreneur and business owner, real estate seemed the ideal way to keep educating, keep championing and cheering others on and making a difference while building a career. You can read more about the television shows, radio programs, podcasts and publications that served as educational platforms here. But the long story short is – I don’t just love what I do, I love how I can help.

My hope is that as you check our blog weekly and find hand-selected content and information just for you, you will use that knowledge to stay informed & empowered. All of this is for you! If you have topics you want to read more about, get an industry perspective on or just want to share what content you keep coming back for – please reach out to bobbi@bobbidecker.com.

It's been a long journey and the best is yet to come! Read more about how we got here on our website, and please keep in touch so I can celebrate your successes and we can continue to inspire each other.

Thank you for reading – new content is published weekly in two key areas, our Monday Market Update & our Senior Spotlight. We also hold a special place in our hearts and in on our blog for sweet little HoneyB – have you met her yet?

Cheers to learning together & cheering each other on – every step of the way,

Bobbi

PS Many kind and caring individuals have inquired about my health since I shared that update; I wanted to let you know there have been a few more setbacks and some progress! I am currently in a recovery mode, working on improved mobility and planning to resume immunotherapy treatment in August. Thank you for all the well wishes!
